We are seeking project submissions from up-and-coming and established theatre directors and playwrights in Memphis, Tennessee, for a series of staged readings that fall into New Moon Theatre Company's mission, "To entertain with challenging and provocative works, classic and contemporary, which are not often produced on the mainstages of Memphis."

In short, we are looking for titles that have not been produced locally within the last ten to fifteen years, if ever. If you need inspiration, check out our PREVIOUS PRODUCTIONS.

Please limit your submission to 3 titles maximum.
If you are submitting a new or original work, please submit a PDF of your script in your email.

With your submission, please send:
- Your name
- Your resume (if you have one)
- Title of Play and Name of Playwright
- Casting Breakdown
- A brief pitch about what excites you about the show.

DEADLINE FOR FIRST ROUND OF SUBMISSIONS IS 5:00 PM CST on FEBRUARY 8, 2026.
